    The IEM is a highly-configurable, complete spacecraft avionics suite that provides C&DH and EPS functionality in order to meet the widest range of system requirements possible.

  • STPSat-1

    STPSat-1 is part of the USAF Space Test Program. The primary experiment, Spatial Heterodyne Imager for Mesospheric Radicals (SHIMMER), is a high-resolution ultraviolet spectrometer based on the optical technique known as Spatial Heterodyne Spectroscopy (SHS).

  • Solar Array Simulator

    The Tiger Innovations SAS (TI-TSAS-4UN) provides up to 16 individual solar array simulators. Each simulator is individually controllable for max-power current/voltage, short circuit current, and open circuit voltage.

  • SC Control Box

    The Tiger Innovations SC Control Box (TI-CB-4UN) is configurable for each mission. The default configuration provides 16 power switches, 16 break-wire switches, 10 simulated loads, and digital command and telemetry control including a SGLS simulator.

  • NISTAR

    The NISTAR instrument, onboard the Triana spacecraft, measures radiation emitted and reflected by the entire sunlit Earth. The four-channel radiometer contains three absolute radiometric cavities and one photo-diode provided by NIST.

  • HXS

    HXS is a Hard X-ray Spectrometer for use in recording the hot-electron Bremsstrahlung energy distribution in the x-ray energy range 12 to 60 keV region.

  • HENEX

    HENEX is a High ENErgy X-ray electronic spectrometer for use at high-energy laser facilities such as the University of Rochester Lab for Laser Energetics (URLLE) and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's National Ignition Facility (LLNL NIF).

  • Frame Sync Box

    The Tiger Innovations Frame Synchronization Box (TI-FS-201U) provides single or dual, fully independent frame syncs for use in telemetry processing. The FS-201U receives a serial bit stream, syncs on the frame, and executes CRC checking.

  • Spacecraft Avionics

    Tiger Innovations personnel have significant experience designing hardware and software. Our hardware designs span analog and digital designs, including processor boards, FPGA designs, analog-to-digital conversion, analog controls and power supplies.

  • Ground Support Equipment

    Tiger Innovation's development of ground support equipment ranges from the simple single-box testing unit, to an entire open-architected TCP/IP-based system to support multiple communication protocols with command/data generation tools and telemetry/debug display applications.

  • Instrumentation

    Tiger Innovations provides custom control electronics that include design, manufacture, test, and installation. We also support electronics required to interface with the existing facility data acquisition and control systems.

  • RF Devices

    We specialize in designing highly capable, low mass, low power RF transceivers and software defined radios. The RFX-400 provides a cost effective, extremely small form-factor UHF transceiver for spacecraft communication.

  • CubeSat

    Tiger Innovations has been developing a cubesat prototype with the goal of supplying the growing number of customers in the space industry with an alternative to existing CubeSat products.

  • Satellite Flight Software

    We have written space-flight software for experiment/payload interfaces, spacecraft telemetry, and intelligent battery subsystems. Our airborne software experience includes fiber-optic data distribution systems, telemetry, voice and data routing software, and signal acquisition systems.

  • Satellite Ground System

    Tiger Innovations has significant experience with ground-system software of various types, including developing our own vehicle control system called StreamLINK. StreamLINK uses database-driven commanding, and performs telemetry de-commutation and display.

  • Systems Engineering

    Our systems accommodate planned and unplanned asset communication as well as limited two-way communication. Both the space and ground segments are organized to be as flexible as possible to meet changing customer demands.

  • Integration and Test

    Our personnel have taken part in the integration efforts on multiple flight vehicles spanning all stages of I&T from component and subsystem integration, through system level testing and payload I&T.

  • Consulting Services

    We are very experienced at coming into existing projects and making substantive contributions within days. Wherever possible, we write generic code modules, allowing for extremely flexible and capable systems.

  • Communications Protocol

    We have significant experience with TCP/IP (and UDP/IP) based applications. We can architect communication systems for a constellation of satellites, including forward error correction, simple packet encryption and authentication, and a method of connecting the network to the internet.

  • TSX-5

    The STP TSX-5 mission was a spacecraft bus that interfaced with two main payloads via a MIL-STD-1553B data bus. Tiger Innovations worked on the Experiment Interface Processor (EIP) and the vehicle integration and test portions of the mission.
